DeSoto Theme Day Recap

So! Some people seem confused by the large quantity of DeSoto posts that happened yesterday, resulting in an unofficial theme day. How this happened was that that morning, I posted a DeSoto ad. Then someone made a comment on that post that led me to post another DeSoto ad. Then someone else posted a DeSoto ad, and I commented half-jokingly that we should continue posting DeSoto content until the end of the day. But then several people joined in, and then I was like, “Alright, we’re totally doing this!”, And I resolved to continue posting DeSoto content until the end of the day. This was a lot of fun, so I’ve gathered all of the DeSoto posts here because I wanted to be able to access them all from one place. I don’t think I missed any, but I’ll happily ad them if I did. All in all, this theme day resulted in 40 posts!

IMO it’s weird that some people got mad at the theme day. Oppo is for shitposts and that was some high quality shitposting.

I feel that it’s a sign that I work too hard that I was the instigator of this event and only contributed two additional articles. I will be sure to include this in my next work performance review.

It’s extra shameful because my grandfather was one of the four men that went to Chrysler Corp headquarters to get permission to start what later became the National Desoto Club.

I shall leave this here as penance.
